Reinstatement of the Caddie Welfare Fund

Dear Members,

Following the most recent closure of our golf courses due to Covid-19, the General Committee has made the decision to once again reinstate the Club’s Caddie Welfare Fund from today, Thursday 21 April.

During this latest closure, the caddies were deprived of an income for three and a half months, and although they are not employees and therefore do not receive MPF or medical benefits, they are an integral and highly valued part of our Club and we take their welfare very seriously.

As we did following previous closures, we have placed collection boxes at the reception areas at both Deep Water Bay and Fanling for members, should they wish, to make donations in cash or by signing a chit.

Members are under no obligation to make donations but of course, any funds received will be greatly appreciated.

Donations are not tax deductible.
